How many years can I buy a domain name for?
You can buy a .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info domain name for any annual registration period between 1 and 10 years. You can buy any Centralnic domain, including uk.com and gb.net for 2 year periods for between 2 and 8 years. All .uk domain names (Nominet controlled) can only be registered for 2 year periods.

In whose name will my domain name be registered?
When you place an order with us, we always register the domain name in your name. Be warned, not all registrars do this; some will register the domain name in their name! This can make it difficult for you to prove ownership of the domain name in the future.

What are the rules for registration of a .ltd.uk domain name?
To register a .ltd.uk domain name, your limited company name as listed on Companies House records must perfectly match the domain name you attempt to register. So if your company is Business Online Ltd, your ltd.uk registration will only be accepted if it is businessonline.ltd.uk. You will also be required to provide us with your limited company registration number in order for your request to be verified. Ltd.uk registrations take up to 48 hours to process due to the manual intervention required.
